My Baby's getting an upgrade...
My baby (one of them) is of course, my gorgeous 24" imac....and it is getting it's yearly tune-up and upgrade. I'm so excited because it's going to feel like I'm getting a brand new computer. Bigger hard drive, upgraded RAM, and a tune-up to make it run beautifully. One thing that I always recommend to my fellow photographers is to back-up your systems hourly...so that these types of upgrades or transitions run extra smoothly. Although I miss my baby profoundly, I know that Carbon Computing (on Queen St.) is going to take good care of her. They are awesome by the way....if you're thinking of getting a mac...i say go with Carbon. They are laid back tech junkies who understand artists and business people alike. Tell them I sent you....might not do any good....but at least they'll know that they are getting referrals! LOL

Great Meeting you all....
What a great bridal show at the MTCC this weekend! If you had the chance to get there then hopefully you were able to stop by our booth. It was so great to see all the love in the air. Love...with a hint of stress and worry and feelings of overwhelm. Almost every bride-to-be told me that they were overwhelmed with all of the information and options available. I totally agree. This bridal show is massive and there are so many vendors pulling you in every direction. My standpoint was to make some good connections with those that loved my work and let those who were rushing by take a card to visit the site. I'm super confident that even if you didn't get a chance to talk with us, the website will provide you with enough information about booking your favorite photographer through Bravo.
I'm really pumped for this upcoming year. Recession or not, there is only one wedding day and I think that people recognize that fact and are still giving the planning process a valiant effort.

I'm Baaaack
Happy New Year to everyone! I had a fantastic holiday and hope you all did as well. I had the wonderful opportunity to cruise on a boat from Florida all the way to party in the Bahamas with my closest family and friends for New Years. Everything was so spectacular. Beautiful weather, great company, and wonderful memories. I did however, manage to catch a cold and had to stay below deck for several days while the boat cruised around fishing (although i did manage to wake up and come out to see my girlfriend's brother land a huge Wahoo that we ate for supper.
I had some time to reflect and be grateful to everything and everyone who has supported me and who appreciates the work that I have done for them and their family.
I am really looking forward to a fantastic start for 2009. I am super excited to meet a new couples in love this year and I can't wait for the wedding season to start. We have lots of preparations to do before the big Bridal Show at the MTCC on Jan. 9-11.
The website is nearly perfect, with just a few tweaks here and there....but for the most part, I'm happy with it:)
